If you spend a lot of time helping others, it is wise not to forget about your own mental hygiene. TRE® can be used to work on yourself or to refresh your mind and body inbetween two client sessions.

Everyone's nervous system responds to their surroundings, and one of the things we can provide clients with during a therapeutic session is our own sense of calm and security, our ability to create a safe space for them.

Besides that, the TRE® method can serve as an excellent adjunct to verbally oriented types of therapy as it tackles the problem from another end as well as supporting sustainability of changes.
