Its creator, David Berceli, Ph.D,, is an international expert in the field of trauma treatment and conflict resolution.
TRE® is purely neuro-physiologically based and is currently used in more than 40 countries by people from all walks of life (military, police, firefighters, international corporations, families, helping professions, as an aid for people in areas affected by natural disasters...)
Its essence is a genetically built-in mechanism of muscle tremor, which is inherent in all mammals. The tremor releases muscle tension and consequently our nervous system calms down. By practicing it regularly, we can achieve significant positive and, most importantly, long-lasting changes in the state of our body and our mind.

Why should one learn TRE® with a certified instructor?
Even though you may find description of TRE® exercises on the internet, the information about neurogenic tremor, self-regulation and other important aspects of the whole process are quite simplified in those. If the exercises are not performed correctly, you may put your health at risk or release too much tension at once and rather make yourself worse off.
Yet another reason may be a very different quality of experience in a guided session, which allows you to relax more and uncover layers of tension that you may be unconsciously avoiding when working on your own.
My goal is to teach you how to use the method safely and independently in a few sessions. Whether you continue on your own, regularly or occasionally with me, or participate in group sessions is entirely up to you.
